WHAT BOOK DID EVERYONE LIKE AND YOU HATED?
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
I didn’t completely hate it, in fact, my initial review of Seraphina was mostly positive but lately when I reflect on the novel I realise that I quite honestly didn’t enjoy it. I really wanted to enjoy because I read so many positive reviews but I just found the story and the characters problematic.
BOOK/S THAT PUT YOU IN A RIDICULOUS READING SLUMP
Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
I read Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist this past weekend and it was amazing. It made me super nostalgic for the summer of 2013. That was kind of my year of partying and gigging and doing pretty stupid things. Every now and then I miss being an irresponsible young adult. Now it is all about adulting and responsibility. Boring…
NAME A BOOK YOU WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT
The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan
I have such fond memories reading this trilogy. I was in high school at the time and remember being in class and finishing all my classwork really quickly so I could back to reading it.
NAME A BOOK/S YOU WISH TURNED INTO A MOVIE
Eldest by Christopher Paolini
I know they did a terrible job with the Eragon movie, but come on… This series deserves a reboot. They need to get a real director, remake Eragon and then continue with the series. Eldest is one of my favourite novels in the series and I would love to see it come to life on the screen.
