Remember how I said I would read 5 books before I bought anymore?

I meant it. I swear but it is so damn difficult. If I could I would spend all my money on books and starve to death.

So a bought four more books and I blame booktube and online bookstores. Like I was at home in bed with the flu the last two days, I didn’t even have to leave my bed to spend money. Nope. Not cool.

I couldn’t help it, I was bored and then The Demon King was delivered and I got excited! Way too excited because I paid like R50 for it and it is such a pretty hardcover!

Though I did have an issue with Reader’s Warehouse and delivery…

That just put me in a book hauling mood so I went on the website an found a hardcover of Poison Study for like really cheap and I could let that pass and so one book slowly turned in to four…

Now I’m officially broke.

Good news is that I started reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I’m still trying to get into it, though I really wanna get on board the Shadowhunter craze especially since there is going to be an ABC Family series about it. Looks totally Buffy the Vampire Slayer kind of badass!

I also just started Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. Quite eager get through this one.

Hopefully by tomorrow’s ROW80 check in I’d have finished one of these.

But guys, I promise I won’t buy any more books until I’ve finished this month’s TBR list.

Thanks for reading!

Oh, and 50 followers! That just makes me feel super happy and shy. I know it’s not much at all but I didn’t think anyone would even give my blog a second glance let alone follow me…

God, I have the exact same problem. In my case, though, I’ll let all the books pile up until I have way too many to read and then I’ll start chipping them away one by one and totally become a hermit until I finish them all… which never happens. :p

I have too many books on my TBR list and I have no idea when I’m going to finish them. It’s kind of my own fault because I was on this three year long reading slump while I was at Uni and it is only in the last few months that I’ve gotten back into reading. I don’t know how I survived the last three years. I have a lot of catching up to do…

I can totally relate. I’m like that too–reading slump for a couple of months (sometimes years) and then BAM, 30 books in a week (an exaggeration). How do you choose what books to read first when you have to catch up? :p

    That’s a cute cat and a good book 😀
I also have similar book problem. Please let me know when you find a cure.

Haha. I don’t think we’ll ever find a cure. So many books, so little time…
