The Dome is a city-sized bird cage that Lila calls home. While most of it’s citizens are content with their isolation from the rest of the world Lila can’t help but wonder what resides Outside. When she meets, Blaine – a dodgy barman at an equally dodgy night club in Downtown Little Mowbray – her life suddenly takes an unexpected turn. An assassin from Outside has found his way into the city and her family’s livelihood is threatened. And she can’t help but suspected that Blaine and his daredevil friends know more than they are letting on.

Urban fiction with a dash of science, magic, love and betrayal.

This idea has been brewing in the deep caverns of my over-activate imagination for over a year. I’ve written a substantial amount of this project only to realise that it was not going in the direction I wanted it to. Recently I’ve decided to scrap everything I have already written and start the process over again. I’m currently revising every aspect of this project, re-evaluating characters and their place in the story, getting rid of all the plot holes and finalising the direction of this story. This means lots and lots of research. Let me know what you guys think about this idea.

ROW80 Check In

I know, I know… My update is super late, nonetheless, here it is.

I have managed to reach my 250 word daily target so I have decided that for the next few days I will up that target to 350 words daily.

I still haven’t gotten around to finishing Scarlet, hopefully I manage to find the time this week.

I hope everyone else is managing!

I like the concept. How you get to fix those nasty plot holes and continue to work on it. I have 2 current WIP and another idea, plus editing my NaNoWriMo novel from last year keeping me busy.

Hey, no ROW80 post is ever really late, as long as you post it. At least that’s the way I look at it. There have been a few times that I had to post on a Monday or Thursday. I still did it. So, good from you to still post your updates. Also, congrats on the making your goal. 350 words, you got this!! 🙂

I found that after scrapping the old draft and starting from the very beginning really helps regarding those whole. The plot is gonna change so much as I write this draft. I’ve got the concept down, now all I’ve got to do is write. 🙂
